Instructional Course/Workshop

Instructional Course/Workshop on any field of Ophthalmology will be considered

1. If you are submitting more than one abstract, each must be submitted separately.

2. Carefully follow all instructions on the abstract submission form and complete all required fields.  Failure to do so will result in your abstract not being successfully submitted.

3. Complete each author’s full name. Include the correct address, and mobile number, and email address, hospital, and organization of the First Author.

4. All abstracts must be in English.

5. A notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to the First Author. The presenter’s name in the program will also be the first author. Please ensure that you include the First Author’s correct contact information.
    

6. The Scientific Program Committee reserves the right to assign a shorter duration, if necessary.

7. The author gives permission to record at the time of the abstract submission.

8. The financial disclosure of the author has been declared at the time of abstract submission and presentation.

9. Submitted abstracts must be structured as follows:
    

• Title: It may not exceed 60 characters. Please use title field when entering your title (use both upper-case and lower-case letters as appropriate).

• Body: The body should not exceed 800 characters. It should consist of a structured layout that includes purpose, methods of instruction, course goals and objectives, target audience, and educational level (basic, intermediate, or advanced).

• Requested duration: 25, 30, 40, or 60 minutes.

• The Scientific Program Committee reserves the right to assign a shorter duration, if necessary.

• The author gives permission to record at the time of the abstract submission.

• The financial disclosure of the author has been declared at the time of abstract submission and presentation.

Important Notes:

• Include Senior Author contact information and a correct email address.

• Include Conflict of Interest disclosure and permission to record.

• Include Co-author(s) contact information.

• Carefully follow the instructions for abstract submission.

• Complete all the required fields.

• Abstracts must not have been presented at the previous Saudi Ophthalmology Symposium.
