Scientific Poster
Posters on any field of Ophthalmology will be considered

If you are submitting more than one abstract, each must be submitted separately.

Carefully follow all instructions on the abstract submission and complete all required fields. Failure to do so will result in your abstract not being successfully submitted.

Complete each author’s full name. Include the correct address, mobile number, email address, hospital, and organization of the First Author.

All abstracts must be in English.

A notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to the First Author. The presenter’s name in the program will also be the first author. Please ensure that you include the First Author’s correct contact information.

The author gives permission to record at the time of the abstract submission.

The financial disclosure of the author has been declared at the time of abstract submission and presentation.

Indicate if the poster has been presented before and give details.

Make sure to upload the poster (pdf file) during the abstract submission. The absence of the poster (pdf file) will prevent your abstract from being evaluated.

Posters will be displayed in the poster zone. The poster’s dimensions must not exceed 150cm (horizontally) by 120cm (vertically).

Submitted abstracts must be structured as follows:

Title: It may not exceed 60 characters. Please use title field when entering your title (use both upper-case and lower-case letters as appropriate).

Body: The body may not exceed 800 characters. It must have a structured layout that includes an objective or purpose, methods, results, and a conclusion. The Scientific Program Committee will only accept abstracts with final results or conclusions.

References cannot be included as part of an abstract.

Formulas should be avoided.

When using abbreviations or acronyms for the first time, you should take care to spell them out in full with the abbreviation in parentheses after the full word(s) the first time they appear in the text. The abbreviations should be used alone thereafter in your text.

Carefully follow the instructions for abstract submission.

Complete all the required fields.

Abstracts must not have been presented at the previous Saudi Ophthalmology Symposium.
