Description:
Endo In DMEK: A DMEK graft, folded with endothelial side-in, and preloaded into a glass cannula. This graft maintains orientation during transport and is deployed inside the AC with proper positioning and without tapping. The wet lab will focus on insertion and deployment of the graft inside an artificial anterior chamber, using a human graft and human recipient cornea. All sessions will include 1-on-1 hands-on instruction by leading DSAEK practitioners. This session will led with a presentation by Dr. Rick Palmon (USA), an expert in the technique. Prerequisite: training or experience in DSAEK or DMEK at a minimum, experience with DMEK surgery preferred.
