The criteria for nominating the distinguished optometrist 2024:

• Must be an active member of the Saudi Ophthalmological Society for a period of no less than two years.

• Must have participated in the ophthalmology conference by presenting a lecture or workshop during the past five years.

• Must have participated in continuing education service activities and added and developing the field of optics in the service of eye health.

• Must have awareness and educational activities on social media sites and volunteer hours in the field of community service and health volunteering.

• Must have recent scientific publication in the field of optics in scientific journals reviewed during the past five years
